Laura Maxfield is a member of the Financial Planning Team at RGT. Prior to joining the firm, she was a Senior Financial Planner at Lee Financial, an independent wealth management firm in Dallas. During her twelve years at Lee Financial, Laura provided guidance to her clients on topics such as cash flow management, retirement planning, education funding, estate planning, insurance, and tax strategies. She developed a passion for helping clients navigate claiming Social Security benefits.
Professionally, Laura is a member of the Financial Planning Association and was the recipient of the 2018 Young Guns Award, which is given to an up and coming planner age 36 and under who is making contributions to the financial planning profession and Financial Planning Association. She has served as Chairman of the Scholarship Program, which is a merit-based program for qualified CFP® candidates across the state of Texas. Laura has also served on other Financial Planning Association committees and volunteered with Junior Achievement.
Laura received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Financial Services and Planning from Baylor University. As a Baylor graduate, she enjoys attending the events hosted by The Baylor University Women’s Council of Dallas and joined The Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing Going for the Gold Gala taskforce. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
